They are a family business inspired by our grandmother, “la nonna” Iride Papotti. She and their grandfather, Gino, instilled in them a love for the cultivation and care of grapevines. From at least as far back as the beginning of the 19th century, their ancestors in Italy made wine for their own consumption, using methods that were passed along —and refined— from generation to generation.
Their family, originally from the city of Rosario in the province of Santa Fe, arrived at the province of Mendoza in search of new horizons and with the aim of recovering the thread of family history threaded by Carlos Araujo’s grandfather, founder of the winery and native of Costa de Araujo in Mendoza, Argentina.
